Excellent Trainer

Start by saying this was awesome! My instructor John from the Northampton college location in Monroe County really took his time to make sure that myself and all the other students where well informed. Like most people I was scared to death. He made us all feel comfortable and the amount of patience he showed for us all is commendable. This guy doesn't get paid enough in my opinion and deserves whatever everything coming his way and then some. I would recommend this school and most teachers (especially John) to all the future ODR drivers. He is no longer a teacher but a friend. Thanks for all the help 160 academy and John!

Review

Everything was straightforward and direct. You're trained/instructed on exactly how you will be tested. Every instructor is knowledgable and answers every question you can have, even beyond the school itself. Gotta say a special thanks to my instructor Brian for helping me along the way.

Pretty good

I signed on to 160 not knowing what to expect. I've heard crazy stories about CDL schools and how they just want to push people through. This was not the case. The staff here, Nick, Jim, Ed, Dan, and John all truly want to make sure that you get the proper skills and succeed!!! The staff are not going to simply push you through. You're gonna work for your CDL and develop your skills. And that's a good thing! If you want to get your CDL , and you're serious about it. Give 160 Tannersville a call. Thank you to all of the instructors who helped me become a "One and Done". You guys are great!!

Great Instructors!

The instructors at the Fresno location Raul, Tim, and Miguel were fantastic! Thank you for your help! I was able to successfully acquire my CDL and can now being my truck driving carrier.

One and Done!

Everything was straightforward and direct. You're trained/instructed on exactly how you will be tested. Every instructor is knowledgable in their own way of drive experience. I picked up techniques/tips from every one of them. It helped me in the end - One and Done CDL graduate on my first try. I have to give a special shoutout to Reuben for being the first instructor to take me on the road and taught me how to be a focused driver - always checking my mirrors constantly and teaching me the trick to make those sharp turns. Thank you Reuben, it all paid off in the end. Shoutout to Rick for having the patience with me especially in my skills and encouraging me that I can do anything if I put my mind to it. Mike, Blair and Louis - thank you! You all have been instrumental in helping me obtain my license. You guys rock!

Life changing

A Life-Changing Opportunity – Thank You 160 Driving Academy

After going through one of the most difficult times in my life, finding a new career path felt impossible. I had previously enjoyed a fulfilling career in law enforcement and later ran a medical transportation contract, but due to unfortunate circumstances, I had to move back to the area I grew up in. What followed was a nearly two-year-long battle with depression—a true test of my faith. During my time in medical transportation, I found myself driving in high-pressure and often intense conditions, transporting mothers, fathers, sisters, and brothers. That work gave me purpose again. It was a blessing to serve my community in that way, and I realized I had developed a real passion—not just for driving, but for driving with purpose. The responsibility, focus, and trust involved became something I embraced and honored. It became clear to me that this was more than just a job; it was a calling. As I began to heal and look ahead, I started researching commercial driving and was amazed at the opportunities available. That’s when I came across 160 Driving Academy – Monroe and began my journey. From the very first call, I was blessed to speak with Nicholas Fedio, Business Development Specialist. Nick has been a constant source of support throughout this entire process. From helping me navigate CareerLink, to guiding me through obtaining my CDL permit and Medical Examiner’s Certificate—he’s been there every step of the way. His encouragement helped me push through my anxiety and stay focused on the goal ahead. Now, as I prepare to start the driving portion of my training, I feel a renewed sense of excitement and purpose. I’m so grateful to 160 Driving Academy and especially to Nicholas for being a cornerstone in the community and helping individuals like myself rediscover purpose and opportunity. This is more than a CDL program—this is a new chapter, and I’m proud to say it starts here.

After a rollercoaster ride, I finally obtained my CDL through 160 Driving School, Springfield, MO branch. Jory Hardin was a very lovely person from day one till I obtained my CDL. Donna Scott, a very awesome fellow, held on when things got a little bit challenging at the training site. she made sure every student got his/her fair share of the training, then Lori joined the force. Today, I have my CDL, thanks to these 3 great guys. Thumbs up to you, guys. 160 Driving School is surely a school I recommend for anyone interested in in becoming a professional truck, Driver. I can't wait for my first road experience. Cheers!!!
